He said wrinkles because when you value someone for their freckles, they value you for your wrinkles. When you seek respect for your wrinkles while appreciating their freckles, you earn respect for your wrinkles. Only when we give do we receive in return.

Therefore, it's not about feeling important or making demands. The world operates like an echo; it comes back to us. Relationships are not about taking; relationships are about giving. When you give, you start realizing that what you wanted from them is coming back to you.
