How many of you were told by your parents when you were in like 7th grade, that study well now and thhat when you reach 10th grade, life will be full of fun. Then they say just clear your 12th grade and when you get admission in a good engineering college, life will be full of fun. How many of you have heard that?
And when you get into college they say, just finish this now and once you get a job, life will be full of fun.
Don't worry boy, once you get married then only fun! When should a person have a good time? After death? When will you relish your life? After death? In school you are struggling to get to 10th. In 10th you are struggling to get to 12th. In 12th you are struggling to get a admission ( In a good college). After ad mission you are struggling to get a job. After you get a job you are struggling to get a wife or a husband. After you get a wife or a husband. you are struggling to give them up.
Can you bealive that?
Can I tell you something? In the process of this struggle we have forgotten how to live our life. I am just a reminded of a very popular bollywood song that i heard all the time in my childhood. It was one of the most popular number. The song would often play on our radio set. I can never forget the two lines of that song.
There are lives which have not been lived at all; lives which were dead and over even before they began to live.
There are flowers which did not blossom at all; flowers which were consumed by the breeze even before they began to blossom.
Mysterious is this journey of live that no one has been able to demystify and understand.
Don't live the life of a corpse. Just dragging yourself from one stage of life to another stage of life.
From 10th to 12th, from 12th to engineering, from engineering to post graduation, from post graduation to work, from works to marriage, to pay the bills, to pay the income taxes, to pay the fees.
Life will pass away in front of our eyes and we will realise that. I forgot to live. You will realise that I forgot to live. Moving from one place to another in my life, I just forgot to live my life.
